Kansas City Swiss Alphorns
The Kansas City Swiss Alphorns have been a longtime part of KCSS events, sharing the distinctive sound with the Kansas City community for many years.
In 2026, the Kansas City Swiss Alphorns formally became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Through this new organization, they hope to preserve and promote the traditional Swiss alphorn instrument while enriching the cultural diversity of Kansas City and the surrounding communities.
Their mission is to celebrate Swiss musical heritage, introduce new audiences to the unique sound of the alphorn, and contribute to the vibrant cultural landscape of the Kansas City area.
